Does Family Court in Bandra have powers to 'stay Execution' of its own Orders ?

I want to challenge the maintenance order passed against me.
Does only Bombay HC have powers to put stay of making payments to wife?
I can not pay arrears of 8 months and total arrears of 11 months now (more than 1 lac in total)
Can you please guide me on appeal process.
Wife filed divorce. she applied for maintenance for her and child, using Hindu Marriage act's cruelty reason.
I also applied for maintenance from her.
Me and my wife both together were in business of catering.
My business is closed. But she has restarted, using her father's contacts she got contracts also. I had proofs that some of the cooks now work with her.
Actually I should have got some maintenance from her instead since I am needy one. Hindu's marriage law is like that.

Judge asked me to pay atleast twenty thousand within one week.
Judge did not ready to listen until arrears paid.
If I pay arrears and then if judge say that he have no such powers then I would lose all the money for ever.
My lawyer had filed application of stay that I would pay money in installments but she should not take it and injunction should be put on her.
Lawyer has applied for reversal of order because wife has told lies in court.
She has got two big contracts from two companies to provide lunch for min of 400 staff daily basis.
All her purchases and transactions are in cash.

If I go to high court, can I get the amount reduced by condonation petition?
