Difference....

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 13 April 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts of the Forum,

What is the difference between A Fostered Daughter and An Adopted Daughter? How to prove the later in comparison with the former?

Please explain this in clear terms, to battle a court case.

Thanking you ALL in advance.

Once a person is adopted, that person becomes the legal heir. For adoption certain legal formalities have to be observed and followed. Whereas in the case of Foster child, the said child cannot be a legal heir. It cannot gain the status of the son or daughter in the real sense. Comparatively, Adopted child stands in a better footing than a foster child.

Dear Sir,

I am sorry, i think i am not clear. In this particular case , there is no adoption deed Reg or UN-Reg. Only proof is a school certificate where the adopted father name is recorded and marriage is performed by the adopted father. The passport is also carries the school record details. Now as on date (presently) Adopted father, Adopted mother andcBiological Father are no more (not Alive) ,only Biological mother is alive and can give witness to this extent in the court.

Please guide me, to prove this adoption in the Court-Of-Law.

Once again Thanking YOU ALL.

Dear Anonymous,
I always advise people to first give their complete facts, and thereafter to pose the query, so that an appropriate answer based on the facts could be given, which will be of use to the querist.
But, many a times, people straight away ask abstract questions and we give answers.
Thereafter you find it difficult to apply to your fact situation.
Therefore, even now, please indicate the fact situation and in what circumstances / context / case matter you want the answer. Only thereafter, it will be possible for me to give the answer.
