No they will compare the signature and LTM of original documents only

Hand writing expert's duty is to compare the signatures

there is a difference in standard signatures and specimen signatures and disputed signatures . all of these are compared with each other and then report is submitted by the expert.the signatures can be obtained from court file as specimen and than standard and disputed signatures are compared with each other.
