Respected sir,

I am a law officer in a company, my company sold ink to a accused against which cheque was given but dishonured.case is filed u/sec.138 of NI Act in year 2009 but problem is the summons report is person not found and the accused closed the shop and left the city now what to do ? which step should be taken in case? paper Proclamation? if yes in which city where case has been filed or in city where accused is living, or any other step should be taken. Please suggest .

If you can not locate the accused , further procedure is lengthy and not worth the costs.

Thank you sir for your response, i read many of your suggestions in other cases where you mentioned that FIGHT TO WIN, i want to develop your that attitude in me ,in my case, for company cost is not important they want to know that nothing we can do there may be some procedure which will protect right though it is time taking therefore please suggest me the exact procedure, so that i can tell them and take steps accordingly.

It differs from case to case. If you can put hard work the other side as a rule make mistakes in over confidence.
