Can father sell a property which he has inherited when he has

a)minor son and daughter

b)major son or daughter

No he cannot sell entire property, he can sell his share. Minor and major son have also got share in the ancestral property

(a) In hindu law the father can sell the property for the welfare and maintenance of the minors of joint family/inherited property.

(b)son or daughter has to sign in order to sell the entire property. otherwise father can sell his 1/3 or 1/2 (son and daughter// son or daughter only) share in the property
