Hello,
i am from visakhapatnam, andhra pradesh and own a flat in an apartment. i have rented half of the flat to a family and run my office in the other half since the last 6 years.
Recently some members of the apartment are objecting to my office in the apartment even though its my own flat. They are even prohibiting me from parking my vehicle in the apartment in my parking slot which i had bought by paying 50,000/- to the builder. the members of the apartment (i guess it is a registered society) say that once i rent the flat to someone else, i do not have a right to park my vehicle in the apartment.
Well, i really have not read the bylaws and the management has not changed in like 5 years.
Who should i consult. Please someone tell me my rights(if i have any).
Thank you.
I run a designing office for paper adverts with 1 staff and 1 computer. There are also no visitors as the work is done over the net.

please read over your deed i.e., executed by the apartment owners when you are purchased. if there is any condition in respect of sub lease and then query about that

If you have a office as a portion of your residence no body can object. If you have partitioned the house and having a separate office or you are engaged in trading activities they have a strong grounds for objection.
