hi sir iam a muslim .my father has a house which was purchased by my grand father .that house has two floors n i want to construct another floor but my father is not allowing me to construct can i construct it with out his concered as iam his son ? thanks in advance sir.......

If you were entitling to any share in property of your grand father at the time of his death, you have a vested interest in the property up to that extent but you can not construct third floor without taking your share by partition.

What was your share at the time of death of your GF depend upon your branch of faith (siya, sunni) and upon the list of survivors
