my name his aekkala rishikesh but in my my documents and certificates it as be written as akkala rishikesh because of my parents over site so can i know how many days does it take for me to change my surname and how much expenses so i incur and how many times shall i go to court on this work im waiting for valuable answers

Made a request to concern office for the correction of your name.After satishfing that office, you would get your name written as correct.This proceedure can take a time of 2-4 months.

You will have to get a declaration by way of public notice published in newspaper and gazette notification and thereafter to apply to the concerned offices for change of name in your documents and certificates.

you go to proper state's government press and they will assisit you. Because they also publish the gezette. The applications are available in that place and you got the application and file there the filled application and they told what the amount to be paid by you. After submission your application they will verify it and published in the gezette and they also give some original copies to you, then you may also published in daily newspaper then you will proceed in your new name
