Second time pension

A person after retiring from CRPF(Para Military Force) getting pension joined in another public sector a govt of India undertaking! whether he is permistted to get second pension! if not what he should have done?

he can get the pension from the public sector undertakings too provided he had put in the minimum service there for pension.

there are lot of people drawing similar pensions and nothing illegal about it.

but as per ccs pension 1972 rule 7 double pension is barred! the context is with respect to Central Government Employees!

Yes, I agree with Mahendra. The pension is payable to an employee on account of services rendered by him under a particular employer to which he is entitled under his service condition after completing a specific period of service. Thus in case, he fulfill the conditions in this regard, he is entitled for pension under second employer too. There is no bar.

Most of the watchman in the public sector undertatakings are retired from army or paramilitary forces their cpf is deducted and accordingly their contribution to pension scheme is also deducted and on retirement or death they get pension .

He is eligible to get both the pensions.
