Where to file application for divorce

I stay at a village sirpur near pune. I have been tortured by my husband. He drinks alcohol and beats me frequently. I want to file a petition for divorce. Can i file d same with Family Court of Pune or the district court has the jurisdiction. I have lived near Pune before marriage. also please suggest some advocate who i can consult.

you can file a divorce petition on the ground of cruelty. regarding the family court jurisdiction if your village is covered by pune family court(?) you can file it. But i think you are residing at village. So you have apply before the sub-court or district court having jurisdiction over you area.
