can forgery be challenged in criminal court aft the final judgment in civil suit

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 25 November 2010 This query is : Resolved
A case for injunction was filed by tenant.

Rent receipt was forged beyond doubt, but i never preferred the receits to be sent to FSL to prove it as I wanted to solicit more info reg rents.

The final argument is complete and awaited judgment.

Can i prefer a criminal case now against the tenant regarding the alleged forgery?

Pl clarify legal status sirs.

If the forged documents are used in the civil court, you can file petition u/s 340 cr.p.c. only. You can not file a private complaint.
