Hi All,
I am srinivas. Recently i have brought one product which is ayurvedic and there is no address on the product. If i have any complaints regarding that product, where can i give complaint???. Please suggest. And how to contact with them. I have booked it in online and i have received through courier. And there is no from address, there was only product name and phone number. I called them, they said it is marketing company we dont have manufactures address. Can you please suggest, is there any specific law for consumers, that each and every product should mention there address???. I request you all please suggest me

dont purchase such products . number of ayurvedic companies which sell branded ayurvedic medicine . purchase only products of such reputed companies which contain all details as to ingredients , date of manufacture , MRP etc

Hi Ajay,
Sir, Thank you so much for quick reply, but i already purchased it. There is no address of that product, which i was not aware about that. Now i have query that can i report in Consumer forum, that this product is not having address on it. Is there any specific law for this.

Go to consumer forum and file case for indulging in unfair trade practice.

you dont have manufacturer address , date of manufacture , . in consumer forum you will have to make both manufacturer / marketing companies parties . ask marketing company for details .
the act governing manufacture , sale of such products is weights and measures act . read provisions of said act .

do u have invoice in your name? if yes send a notice to the person that sold you the product, in addition to that it is illegal to sell ayurvedic products without reg no., manufacturer's address, product info in india.

send a notice to online company who sell the products & claim compensation if the company is not ready to pay the compensation then file a complaint before consumer court.
