Dv

(Querist) 10 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Wife torments husband, makes him leave parents, threatens suicide, owns a mobile phone without husband's knowledge, speaks ill about husband and in-laws with relatives, harasses servants, stage-manages conflicts between husband and his relatives in addition to manipulative behaviour and lies. My friend whos is victim of her nasty behaviour has no evidence. He seeks help of wife's family and they refuse to help him.

He hack's in to her mail account desperately in search of evidence and finds evidence. He does not save these chats but confronts wife. She deletes them promptly. He records arguments and she steals the device from him. He is left with no evidence. There were quarrels between them on many ocassions. On few she creates nuisance in public and also disrupts a family holiday.

Now the dejected husband has no way to go without evidence. His wife now on for filing DV for
1. unauthorised mail access
2. recording her conversations

This guy has no defense on his side. Is this going to put an end to any happiness he can salvage in life. Now he is jobless and depressed. He tried taking her to family therapy where they told she suffers from Narcistic Personality Disorder and needs treatment. She refuses.

He is in constant threat of his career and welfare being spoilt.

Does he stand any chance of defending himself?

We all know law demands proof which your friend does not have as you state.

But a silverling i find between the lines that those servants(" harasses servants"you have stated)can be best independent evidence to prove much of her cruel behavior not only with them but also with husband they must have witnessed time to time.

Neither his life nor hos profession would be hampered if your ' friend' does not cower under such threats which has become rampant these days.
Ask hi to be a man and face the case. Nothing would happen.
Getting rid of his wife by way of divorce suit, mutual divorce preferably would be good for him.
