No. He cannot be compelled. It is his desire o either proceed with complaint or compound it.

A compounding in a case which compounding is recognized or allowed by Cr.P.C,things have to go on wish of both the parties and as such no complainant can be compelled by any person
to enter into compounding against his wish.
