Please provide judgments that wife can not get maintenance in a case husband obtain Divorce on ground of Cruelty.

Wife is entitled to maintenance even if the husband has got the divorce on the ground of desertion.

Wife is not entitled to get maintenance if she get married after divorce or she is able to maintain herself else she is entitled to get maintenance.Whatever might be the ground of divorce it hardly matters.

The wife is entitled to maintenance irrespective of the ground of divorce. As rightly mentioned by Mr. Bhartesh, only when gets remarried or she is in a position to maintain herself, then she may not be entitled to get maintenance. Otherwise, she is fully entitled to maintenance and you cannot avoid it.

The conduct of wife is important. If there is false character assassination or false allegations of cruelty resulting in prosecution of the husband, permanent alimony can be declined. This will not apply to interim maintenance.
There are case laws on this. I need time to post the same.
