I would like to know from experts-:
Can I (as individual) serve the legal notice to another person/agency or only Lawyer can serve the notice?
Do I need lawyer to serve the notice?

There is nothing called legal notice. A notice is normally called a legal notice, as it would be satisfying the legal requirements that have to be contained in the notice.
If you are so sure that you will be able to take care of all the legal requirements, including the limitation, statutory period, the demand which you have to make etc. etc., then you can issue the notice yourself. There is no need for any lawyer.
BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE SURE THAT YOU KNOW EVERY LEGAL REQUIREMENT. IF you are not sure, then it is better to approach a lawyer.
Spending money on lawyer is worth, rather than making a mistake and repenting later, which would prove too costly.

a layman can give only normal notice while
legal notice can only be given by lawyer.

One can send notice fulfilling the legal requirements in the notice. Better take the services of some lawyer. Legal notice is the base of future claim/ relief.

If you know the nitty gritty of law, you can also serve a legal notice in your individual capacity.

Sending FIRST NOTICE is like Digging the Foundation of a building, and preparing Planned civil structure of sky scraper.
Any unplanned Pillar, Or any mistake in planned Layout can result in zigzag structure, building will break soon with many lives and causality,All construction cost is wasted, Municipality can demolish it, as does not comply with requirement, and so on.
As you need Architect / structural Engineers to built a building, together with Legal Consultant,
SO YOU NEED LAWYER TO DRAFT AND ISSUE A LEGAL NOTICE.
NOTICE BEING THE FIRST STEP OF LITIGATION
ANY MISTAKE COST A LOT LATER ON.
So never do that mistake of sending Legal Notice by yourself.
As Surgical Operation need Dr,. Surgeon, if self done will result in death.
Self sent notice will also certainly result in Loss.
This message is for every one who think to send notice on their own. It is a very Big Risk, and all case differ. Never do it.
