This is old technique to prove in the court regarding some case that certain papers were delivered in the envelop.
Immediately inform the lawyer through Registered AD letter that only blank paper (attach photocopy)is received in the envelop and receiver is unable to understand what he wanted to prove with this blank paper. Receiver could not be held responsible as no document has been received, if any document was to be sent, send it again so that the same may be dealt according to the content.

Sir,
Can an advocate do like this, doesn't he have any ethical code of conduct, leaving his client aside.Had it been sent by my opposite party i could have understood there cheapness but the sender address being of an advocate it really shocked me that how people degrade there profession. He should have death his profession in a professional manner.
Please advise me. 1)what should be done with such advocates ? 2)What bad intention could be in his mind ? 3) Can I go to the concerned District Judge were the advocate is working with this document and request him to please ask this advocate what he want out of it?

You can not do whatever you wish. Follow the advice of experts that you should send a reply to the sender under Regd.Post with Ack.Due.

Pl. keep the envelop in safe custody. Now-a-days, counterfoil of the Registration slip is pasted on it, showing date of the registration, weight of the article etc. Weight of the article, by itself would prove that the envelope did not contain anything worthwhile!

Since you feel the opposite party advocate does not have any ethical code of conduct, even if you send a registered letter he may say there was nothing in the envelope. Try to get e-mail address of the advocate and send a message your grievance.

With e-mail you should also send registered AD letter at available address.
