Hijack and kidnap

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 25 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
We are very small logistic company, used to buy fuel on credit from a vendor from other state but as the vendor started cheating in quality and quantity we stopped transactions and held his payments for settlement but over 6 months passed he did not approach us for payments.
Now suddenly he has hijacked our vehicle with the driver and taken it about 300 kilometres away to his pump and is demanding huge sum which is not actually payable.
Now please advice what legal action we can take to get our vehicles released immeadtly what are sections we can frame for strict action against the pump owner as he feels he is very powerful in his area and can blackmail and take law into his hands.
Please help and give me urgent advice with detail sections which will help me.
Thank you all in advance and hoping for best support also we will not mind for best advice on payment basis.
regards

if you had any complaints regarding qulaity and quantity of diesel supplied what action was taken by you ? did you in writing complain to pump owner?

you cna lodge complaint with owner namely BPCL or HPCl whoever is owner that petrol pump owner is supplying adulterated fuel

You need not know under which section FIR is registered.
Just visit the Police and state the whole incident, the Police itself include all the applicable sections in the FIR and would swing into action.
If after your complaint the Police does not register FIR or after registering the same it does nothing then move the Magistrate u/s 156(3) of crpc.

you are repeating the query instaed of agreeing to the advise which I gave you within 3 hours of earlier queyr. All experts are endorsing that you aproch police. The policemen down to constables have read IPC better than many advocates it is their bread and butter. They know how to nab kidnappers and which section to charge. It appears that yu have some hesitatin to approcha police as you may be guilty at some corner of the story.
