Pre matured fd withdrawal

Respected Sir / Madam

I wanted to know that, can we lodge a complaint in consumer forum against bank for non payment of FD amount against pre-matured closer of FDR's. Is it a deficiency in service ?

complain to banking ombdusman . if no action taken then move consumer forum . it is deficiency in service if bank fails to pay . however bank can levy penalty for premature encashment.

Yes, it is deficiency of service and you can file consumer case.

Complaint to the Head office / Chairman of the Bank. Lodge Complaint to Banking Ombudsman and if no result come out lodge complaint in Consumer Forum.

Agree with Expert Rajendra Goyal... You have not said which bank has refused... I suggest contact their Regional/Zonal Office initially.

Premature FDS can be encashed per rules of the bank,denial whereof is deficiency in service.
