For representing before the authorities, any body can appear by getting the POA from the parties.
No court fee is required. Because it is not a court at all.
POA in a non judicial stamp paper Rs.100 (in TAmil Nadu) is enough.
You are a practicing advocate, tax consultant, having LLM qualification, would know more than this.

1. Court Fee Act (Central- which differ in states) is altogather different from Stamp Duty Act (State).
2. Court fees is required to be paid for adjudication of disputes (by Court) whereas all testamentay documents require stamp duty, please check it in your case. 3. However, in Delhi the General power of attorney is Rs. 100/- and Special power of attorney is Rs. 20/- on "NON-JUDICIAL STAMP".

Dear Bro. Advocate there is no requirement of Court Fee on a POA it is only a stamp duty required for the testamentary documents like POA.
In UP it is Rs 100 Stamp Paper is required for a General Power of Attorney which has to be purchased for the same purpose and by either of the party only.

Did you find out from your legal dairy which you are purchasing year after year and it is mentioned therein for mostly all states?
Besides this, please visit State Revenue department website or Bar library and take out Stamp Duty Act of your state and find it out.
