My company is going to take a loan of Rs. 25.00 Crores from the bank against which we have to mortgage two immovable properties of two directors in favour of bank. This transaction going to happened in Maharashtra.
Now only one director is present and other director is out of India for three months or more.
So we are going to mortgage one property in favour of bank for the loan and other property will be mortgaged when other director will be present. The bank agree on the same.
As per my understanding, in Maharashtra a maximum stamp duty on mortgage deed is Rs. 10 lakhs so If we execute one mortgage deed by which both properties are mortgaged then we have to pay stamp duty of Rs. 10 lakhs but
as we are executing two mortgage deed against the same loan. Do we need to pay the stamp duty of Rs. 10 lakhs on both mortgage deed though the loan amount remain same?
Can we claim exemption for other mortgage deed?
What will be the best option available to us in this case.

Dear sir,
If Taxable turnover of assesse has been crossed more than 10 lakhs and assesse are paying service tax under the head CHA Services.
Now Assesse receives Brokrage charges at Rs. 63007 but not paid service tax on it under the head of Buisness Auxilliary service just because of Charges did not cross 10 lakhs.
So can assesse get separate exemption on separate serivces. ????

My grandfather(expired) & my grandmother (expired) had three children, my father(expired), my chacha(expired), my bua(expired). They had a home which was on my grandfather's name, he died leaving behind no will. Then my chacha expired. Then my grandmother died leaving behind a will in which she gave property rights to my father and my bua. My father me my brother and my mother used to leave in this home. My father expired and then my bua also expired. My mother me and my brother moved to other rented place and gave that home on rent. Now my bua's husband and her children are asking for there property rights. I wanted to know how much do they have the percentage share in the property & also can my chacha's family claim for there rights in the property.

I am a third year student of LLB in the 6th semester. Due to some unavoidable reasons I will not be able to appear for my exams for the 6th Semester. I want to know during the ATKT exams will I be asked to sit for 8 papers i.e. Sem 5 and Sem 6 or Just Sem 5. I have cleared my Semester 5. Please Reply

Hi Sir,
I have married recently last year on August 2013. First time when I saw my wife only I said to my parents & relatives that I didn’t liked her because she is black. i said that i dont want to marry her. Even then they have convinced me to get to marry her. So I married her thinking that his behavior might be good. But, at present I am getting so many problems like she is saying to get separate with my parents & she is quarrelling every day with my mom & with me for every small small issues. Her behaviour is very rude & bad nature. So I a am thinking to give her divorce. But, unfortunately with my bad luck she is pregnant now(8-moths pregnant). Kindly, Please suggest me in getting the divorce sir please. What will be the consequences if I go file a divorce petition.. & also if i marry a second wife without knowing her what will happenns & what will be the punishment if i do like that. let us assumet like this in hindu law sencond marriage is offence, in Muslim law it is permittable. so if i convert my religion into muslim & then if i marry a muslim girl what will be the consiquencies.....

The lawyer of my friend concealed facts about the case which later on cost a lot for him in that case. She communicated to my friend that the complaint has sent police to arrest him and the police officer has contacted her asking her to negotiate the case out of court. But what was shocking is that she said she was threatened by the officer that if her client doesn't pay 20lakhs that too in gold then he will harass and drag him to custody. What is the duty of the lawyer under this circumstances?

Dear Experts,
I had a query with respect to MHADA Housing Lottery'14. I work for an Indian firm and am based in Mumbai. However, for the last 1.5 years I am outside india working on an assignment and earn foreign salary with only minimal pay in india.
I fall in the HIG group but in india the basic salary cannot justify that.
Can you advise what should be my Salary in the lottery section for MHADA ? Should it be combination of India and foreign salary or Indian salary only ?
