I SHALL BE OBLIGED IF THE LEGAL LUMINARIES MAKE IT CLEAR THAT IF IS WRITTEN AS "MEETING HAS TO BE HELD WITHIN 12 MONTHS FROM THE LAST PRECIDING MEETING (MEETING WAS HELD ON 13.07.2008)". DOES IT MEAN 12 CALENDAR MONTHS i.e. NEXT AUGUST 2009 OR 365 DAYS FROM 13.07.2009 i.e. WITHIN 12.07.2009.

we had a heated raw at our place..after that my brother has demanded for money from my uncle..which is not feasible. if not provided he is giving us 'dhamki' that he will ruin his or his families life..he has not done anything yet..we dont know in which context he said of ruining his life(materially,attack,conspiracy..etc)..
can my uncle file any case against him?
can we get any legal protection?

Sir, currently me and my parents are experiencing a rough period. My dad's company has closed and he is now jobless. My uncle, aunt and my grandparents are regularly tormenting us on various issues and quarrelling with my parents. Sometimes they stop our water supply and sometimes they force drain water in our house. They are also regularly threatening us to make us leave the house which is in the name of my grand mother. I'm a student and not financially independent. I feel helpless being unable to help my parents. Please guide me with proper legal procedure.

we had a heated raw at our place.losing his temper my brother ran with a knife in his hand behind my uncle.before doing any damage to my uncle he was stoped....now can we file a case for attempt to murder on him...

I authored a book on "competitive exam" in 1999 & got it published.This year this was 7th edition.But i haven't got it copyrighted so far.
yesterday,the same book has been spotted by me in a book stall with slight modification & in different title;I can prove that the book is photocopy of mine.It's worthmentioning here that this book too hasn't been copyrighted.
Under the circumstances,what should i do for my remedies and for immdt arrest of the persons that infringed my lit. work?
What are the procedures in this matter to arrest the culprit,stop the circulation of his publication & what are the provisions for the loss that I suffered?
And have i to engage a lawyer or I can take the case by myself,coz I'm confident to take the case by myself.

Sir, Partnership business regestred under Indian partnership act.The said partnership business started with jointfamily neucles,with family members alown with my father and his brothers and no strangers,with jointfamily assitens, with jointfamily fund.And countuned,brothers of my father reliqused thier rights in favour of my father. The said partnership business countuned with my father,myself,and my brother. My father died interstat in 2008.In 2006 my father has brought funds from sale of jointfamily property along with his brothers and invested in the said partnership business.Now my sisters/daughters has sent notice claiming equal right in the partnership business.1)my query is will the daughter get equal right in the partner ship business? sience the said partnership business started with jointfamily neucles, with jointfamily funds. Sir please kindly guid me sir. We belong to hindu religion.

Hello,
Am married since the last 9and half years. Since the last 2 and half years am living overseas and studying here alone. My husband lives and works in India. We decided to seperate and eventually divorce in Nivember last year 2008. He has agreed to mutually cooperate with the divorce as I want to settle down here overseas and he has no interest to join me and neither do I want to live in India any more. We are living without each other anyways since am here from Jan 2007.
How fast would I be able to get a divorce and will the grounds of living seperately since 2007 count in our case.
