If stamp duty has been paid on certificate of convertible preference shares, then upon conversion, whether stamp duty is again payable on the equity share certificates to be issued.

In Mumbai, I have purchased flat on the name of my father and myself in 1994. Share Certificate is issued on my name. My father is expired. Later on in our family agreement it is agreed by family members that the said flat is belongs to me only and nobody else has any claim over it. Now I have desired to sell the said flat. As original agreement to sale was on joint name, (where father’s name was written first) will there be any legal complications? And can my family members create legal problem?

Hi I am married women, my query is my cousin brother(My father's younger brother son) wants to gift me money say Rupees Twenty lakhs.
1)My query is can I recieve this gift in money form him?
2)Who would be liable for taxation in this matter, me or my cousin?
3)what would be the rate of taxation?
4)Also what documnts are required in case of taking a gift form a relative?
5) is there any other way to same the tax.

I have booked one 300 sq yds plot in yakut pur village in Noida through Sai Builders having office in Faridabaad Haryaana.after paying 70% of amount We have found that the Builders has closed his office and now absconding later on we came to know that he has cheated some 300 peoples.
Kindly advise us about where to appeal for case as local police is not taking any steps they have refused to lodge an FIR also.
Can we move to consumer court or we have to approch civil court.
We want either our money to be refunded orplot.

I had some parking issues with the society.
The society asked me to move out one Scooter from the society premises and not to park it in the society.
The society said that if I do not move it by a particular date they will charge me as per visitors parking charges.
I accordingly complied and moved the scooter out of the society's premises before the said date.
The society still charged me Rs.15,000/-.
What is the remedy.

I RECEIVED PROPERTY THROUGH WILL EXECUTED BY MY FATHER WHO EXPIRED IN AUGUST 2014. I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS:
1. WITHIN IN HOW MUCH TIME I MUST GET IT TRANSFERRED IN MY NAME-IT IS A PROPERTY FETCHING RENT.
2. I AM FROM VIZAG,AP,-WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR MUTATION OF PROPERTY INTO MY NAME? DOES A LEGAL HEIR CERTIFICATE FROM TASHILDAR IS SUFFICIENT AS IT IS THROUGH A WILL?
THERE ARE NO LEGAL ISSUES TO THE PROPERTY CONCERNED.

Hello,
My name is Avinash, I have completed my M.tech. In all my academic certificates my father name is printed as "Basavaraj H B", but his name is "Basavaraj H H". this is due to my fault, i.e. in 7th std school teacher had given me to fill up the form, which i filled wrongly. now i applied for passport and I couldn't correct it. Any solution so that I could correct my father name in all my academic certificates from 7th std to M.tech.

There is a garage in the society and member of that garage had applied for membership of the society being an owner of said garage.
However, society denied to accept the application as the garage is not shown in the approved plan.
So whether the society is right on their part if yes what is the legal provisions.

Most of the places in delhi plot and flat are selling by GPA as registry is not available in that area. What should I check before purchasing property. What should be my check list.
