I had availed a bank loan from a bank situated in one district of Orissa. After my retirement I have been residing in another city. Can I file a consumer case making the branch of my city rather than the loan issuing branch for rendering deficiency in their service.

Hi Respected Lawyers,
I have availed a loan of rs. 1lakh frm HDFC Bank. Due to my health issue i left d job frm a reputed company for which i dont hv any area of making funds so hv not paid any EMIs to the HDFC Bank till now since inception(3-4 EMIs). Now bank had sent me d legal notice to my home town stating pay the full amount wothin 7 days of receipt of this notice falling of which they will take the help of arbitragers as mentioned in d notice.
Am so afraid, wht ll happen further ? Even hv applied fr a abroad job fr which police verification is also happening. So, is dis civil legal notice might cause any problm n dat n order to get VISA etc.
I just need sm more time so that i ll pay d entire amount. I dont hv any intention to eat that smount. Plsssss suggest me.... Am nn hurry burry situation. Plsssssss

A person had convicted us 306 of IPC. and sentenced jail for 7 years. An appeal was filed in high court against such conviction and the same is still pending for disposal. My question is whether it is possible to get early disposal of the appeal if a compromise proposal is filed by the complainants at this stage. The accused had already passed 3 years in jail out of total sentence period of 7 years.

My advocate has finally cheated me.He took money from me for amendment for as i resigned from a just newly registered company of which not even bank account is not opened.He spoiled my one month,now my partner is giving him money to quit from my side,so he is now abusing me.
pls advice how do i get out of this partnership as i am not happy with my partner.I want to dissolve company.

my family is undivided Hindu family(me, my mother and brother) till date.
my brother had prohibited marriage(saphinda relation ship) 2 years back and went to america, still my brother is staying in america,but his wife is came back to India and given birth to a baby girl,now my brother's wife trying to enter into my joint family house and she is saying that she is also having rights on my joint family house as she is my brother's wife, as per the prohibited marriage under Hindu marriage act, can my mother(father expired) stop my brother wife's entry into my joint family house?
my brother's wife also having rights on all my joint property like land and house? or not?if no can we stop her entry to my land and house?
please help me on this

I owed a Credit Card of a Pvt. Bank & used it in Jan 2008. after that I realized that I would not be able to pay it. I changed my all personal detail like (number , email id, DOB, address everything).. In 2012 I joined a company where my employer opened my salary account in same bank & i provided the new personal detail to bank. Every thing was going good ..
Suddenly in Mid-May2016, Bank put Credit Card Lien on my salaried saving account. When I inquire, they said My Namae, My Father Name & My Signature is matching.. I denied that I never owed this card & none of my other detail is matching to it.
What Should I do now or what may bank can do this legally ?

before 10 year i purchase residential property in my mothers name through my own earning. my mother and father did not contribute any thing for buying this property.now a days my younger brother & his wife making pressure to transfer 50% share of this property in his own name but my mother & father is not in this favor.and my mother return to this property to me urgently.my younger brother will not appear before any registering authority.how to get back this property from my mother.

Is it compulsory to change my ao code when my address change for e filing IT returns.Change of address is already entered in pan data base.But ao code is shown still old. Which AO will assess my e filed return in this case the present address AO or the old AO .

Lease agreement
Dear Sir,
I wish to let out on rent a commercial property for purpose of workshop to a motorcycle dealer. Kindly advise if I can lease out for a term of 11 months, further renewable on mutually agreeable terms or would it be better to have a longer term of say 3 years.
Also what document do I need to execute a LEASE AGREEMENT or LEASE DEED or RENT AGREEMENT or LEAVE & LICENSE DEED. Also, NOTARY attestation of the document is enough OR should the deed be REGISTERED
