Sir i got divorced in aug 2010 under mutual consent.a female child aged 10 years is with me.In april 2011 I remarried to a divorcee under family compulsion though i was not interested to remarry.now my new wife is employed in a pvt school on admin post.her school is delhi whereas i am staying at gurgaon having my own house, my daughter from earlier marriage is also studying in good school in gurgaon.my wife now insist me that i should shift to delhi otherwise she will not come to gurgaon .She had marely stayed with me 4-5 days and left my house and is staying at her house in delhi.With me I have my old father and my daughter from earlier marriage.Therefore I am unable to seek to her demand to shift to new delhi for her job.now,she is pressursing me to accept her demand through common relatives and sometime threatening me to file dowry/domestic violence case against me.I am in deep trouble. pl advise how to get rid of this problem

My wife lodged false complaint against me for Dowry u/s 498A.
Earlier my Father in law sent me and my relatives two emails and claimed that i have demanded Bed & A.C as dowry from them.
Now in complaint to Police/Women Cell, my wife has claimed that I have also demanded Rs. 5 Lakhs Cash and Swift Car in addition to Bed & A.C from my parents/me.
There has been no mention of Rs. 5 Lakhs cash or Car in Father in laws emails where he falsely alleged me of demanding dowry.
Will this go in my favor or whether police/court will give weightage to this or not. Thanks

following is a moot problem.,
reema and rakesh hav been residing in Malaysia for past 9 years and they hav a son of about 2 and half years old. reema is a doctor at the government hospital in Malaysia.one day she suddenly leaves her home with all the valuables, along with her son.rakesh applies for the custody of the minor son in the Malaysian high court.in India the police superintendent is also approached in order for the implementation of order by that court which is in his favor. however reema contends later when she replies that she was being harassed and tortured for dowry during her stay.she was threatened to be put under a speeding car which would fetch him billions in the name of damages.and that the ex parte order was also purposefully sent to the wrong address and hence that order should not be enforced.
kindly help as to the arguments of this case. thank u. riven

In a divorce case filed on 28.10.2010 on the ground of cruelty, wife is petitioner. Mediation was awarded on 06.04.2011 and was done on 18.07.2011. There after on 22.07.2011, on 18.08.2011 and on 12.09.2011 wife and / or her advocate has not filed affidavit and comply with court procedure.
In this case can I object for further adjournments? How?
Is it so that her advocate deliberately taking date and passing considerable time and thereafter they pray for divorce that wife don't want to live together with husband, hence divorce should be granted along with maintenance / alimony?
After one year can wife demand interim maintenance where she herself gone to the Court for divorce?

I have given complaint to DCP headquaters n he has marked it to wpman cell regarding dowry and bigamy but police is not lodging fir even when i have given all the documentary proofs of my marriage and his second marriage.
Kindly suggest wat should i do?

Dear Sir,
I am a non - legal person, however I am interested and keen to represent my own case and as I feel that as a person with pain, I should be in a position to represent my case better (I have all due respects for the learned lawyers)
Can you please inform me the procedure of how should I go about to represent my case myself as Pro Se in the Principle Judge District Court

Sirs,
I married in 1999 and within 40 days the marriage broke and till date (2011), the case is on and on in the Principle Judge District Court.
My question:
Will I be allowed to marry again (if some who is willing to marry me) pending the settlement of my divorce case that is on and on for the last 11 years.
If yes, how will 494 of the Indian Penal Code support or affect my stand.
kindly advice please, if it is legal to marry for the 2nd time pending the case in the court for 11 years and also there has been no communication or any relationship that has broken down completely for the last 11 years.

Hi,
Can somebody provide a draft of mutual divorce agreement. What all terms and conditions should be mentioned from husbands side so that in a later stage wife will not be in a position to claim again?
What amount of percentage should be paid in first motion if husband doesn't trust her wife's family members.
Apart from Agreement What all documentation should be done to make it full proof divorce which can not be challanged. Please tell me the procedure as well, if possible.

Letter of administration
Once a person is appointed as an administrator he would be collecting the dues on behalf of the legal heirs.
He has to then collect all the assets and make a note of the liabilities.
Is there a time frame to do all this?
Pls advise!
