Can anybody suggest me that how I can register complaint against SBI bank. From last 2 months I have not received my new cheque book. I talked to bank manager several times but not get any response. I complaint to Nodal Officer also. I called customer helpline also.

Hi All
i newly applied passport on 11/06/2008. Once i failed to attend the police verification. After that i reapplied police veification part(two time) only.Finally i attend police verification on 22/05/2009. Afer that i am waiting for my passport. Last week itself i didn't get any passport status thro internet. Today i saw the status , which is "your file is closed and reapply with your file number". Today i enquiried passport office thro telephone , they said "we didn't receive any letter or verification report from your local police". But i asked police station , they said that the police verification report alredy sent to passport office. In this situation what i can do? Can i put a case to passport office , madurai? what are the steps need to follow? because one year and two months completed. Please give valuable suggestion to get my passport.

we had a heated raw at our place..after that my brother has demanded for money from my uncle..which is not feasible. if not provided he is giving us 'dhamki' that he will ruin his or his families life..he has not done anything yet..we dont know in which context he said of ruining his life(materially,attack,conspiracy..etc)..
can my uncle file any case against him?
can we get any legal protection?

Hello,
Am married since the last 9and half years. Since the last 2 and half years am living overseas and studying here alone. My husband lives and works in India. We decided to seperate and eventually divorce in Nivember last year 2008. He has agreed to mutually cooperate with the divorce as I want to settle down here overseas and he has no interest to join me and neither do I want to live in India any more. We are living without each other anyways since am here from Jan 2007.
How fast would I be able to get a divorce and will the grounds of living seperately since 2007 count in our case.

One of my client had purchased the house in new construction at Rabale. He has paid advance of Rs.3 lacs to Builder. Afterwards, it was found that it was unathorised constrcution.Now he does not want to purchase the same. Builder will give 3 post dated (6 months) cheques of Rs.1 lac each in exchange of Stamp paper (Agreement for sale) & advance payment receipts. What should be legal course of action for the same. Shall he should return that Agreement & advance payment receipts? What if Cheqes are not cleared after 6 months?

Dear Sir/Mam
one of my client submitted a sum of rs11,000 as advance to the county club for his son's marriage reception a receit was issued to that and later on the terms did not matched and due to some differences with the manager of the club finally my client decided to cancel the booking much before the specified date of any cancilation, and they askd client to come later to claim the amount but after several date they didnt returned the money.First we sent the legal notice to which they replied and asked if any receipt shown atlast client sued them in dist consumer forum on the specified date for admission the court after listioning the argument asked the question is it OF THE SERVICE or FOR THE SERVICE and asked to come prepared as in any one of the following the case is not made out so my question to the dear FORUm member is that what is diff b/w both? and what shall be my reply?
Kindly enlighten me on the above matter.
