(Querist) 11 June 2016 This query is : Resolved
Sir i am a witness in a will executed by my uncle to his sons now i am not interested to be a witness
how can i cancel it my uncle is alive i forced him to make a new will without me but he is not hearing to me
Adv. Sagar R. Jadhav (Expert) 11 June 2016
You can write to your uncle and concern party about the same and also to the concern registrar if will is registered.
Adv. Yogen Kakade (Expert) 11 June 2016
Why to withdraw your name as a witness?
The witness to a will need not know the contents of the will. It is merely to witness the signature, that the executor of the will has signed this document himself before you.

If you have seen a movie how you can do it unseen? It is not possible.

As the same the witness says that 'I have seen this'.

Now is it possible to say that 'I want to do it unseen which I have seen'?

Dear Jadhav Sahib please enlighten us more how this is possible or if there is any law which permit as such?

Submit reply to the questions raised by experts.

What is your intention asking withdrawal of attestation/witnessing the Will?

You are too late to say so.
dillipkumar (Querist) 14 June 2016
Sir, sorry for the late

Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 14 June 2016
No point to repent for witnessing and forget the past, it cannot be reverted at this stage.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 03 July 2016
Your uncle is alive as per your last post.
He can change the WILL anytime while he is live and register it.
