Want to change the address on driving license.

Hi,
I am residing in Bangalore. I already have Driving license in Bangalore. But I like to change the address of it, because I have bought a new house recently.I don't have voter ID card, ration card or passport in this address.

Please let me know what is the procedure to change the address in the DL?

Can I use the an affidavit stating my address or the sell dead as an address proof to change the address on DL?

make an application to RTO for change in address . you will need to submit proff of new address .

Visit RTO office move application for change of address along with an affidavit and a certified or photo state copy of the registered deed of house purchased.

Brother a list would be exhibited on the notice plank in RTO office regarding the address proof documents. I belive in all there are 17 documents out of which any one of the document is sufficient for address proof. so ensure the same and submit.
However affidavit sworn before notary is not sufficient for address proof. U have collect domicile certificate(Rahavasi) from Tahsildar.

Any document in support of your new address is must. You can get verification from municipal Councillor.
