Senior advocate

Whether a law professor can become a senior advocate or judge of Supreme Court of India in Future

Surely he can practise before supreme court of india. But about senior counsel thats some tough one.. Because its will be calculate by his experience in court practice and filing number of cases etc.. After his professor career only he start his practice mean he have to work 24*7 for reach there.

If he is a full time professor, he can not practice in the court can become as a senior advocate.

You must see your appointment letter,if you are working with any UGC college,you can't work simulteneously at two profession.
however once if you appointed as a judge you can accept the same for bright future of the country.
