You can apply in the nearest district bar association. The same is subject to your clearance of bar examination.

You have cleared your LLB in 2005, thus you need not appear for bar examination.
You have to do your registration in the bar council of Maharashtra and Goa.

Contact an advocate in your locality for proper guidance.

You need not clear any examination of Bar rather shall have to apply to your bar council and should get your enrollment from bar association of your choice.

As you stated that you are interested to take job, then it is not advisable to register with bar council. Just show LL.B. degree to your prospective employer.

You may register your name with the local employment exchange at your place if you wants to seek a job in the Government organisations. Bar Council enrolment/registration would not fetch you any job, but it would enable you to practice the profession of law in the court. Further, once you enrol as a Lawyer then you cannot take up full time employment and as such if your intention is to seek a job, perhaps you may not enrol as an Advocate at this stage but apply for the job against any advertisements appearing in the media or register your name with job agencies. However, if you propose to practice as a Lawyer, then please get enrolled in the Bar Courcil concerned.

Best wishes,

Sufficiently advised by all the experts

Registration as advocate bars you going for regular jobs. If the job is as legal consultant it is okay. Otherwise, you can not take up regular employment. You have to contact State Bar Council Office for registration. They will guide you about the procedure if you are interested in advocate profession.
