Money loss

(Querist) 21 April 2021 This query is : Resolved
If no proof of money given to someone then which IPC section is to be implemented? The borrower is a man who betrayed me by marrying me.
Quick Summary
If you've given money to someone, particularly a partner, without any proof of the transaction, it can be difficult to recover. While you might feel cheated, especially if the money was given under the pretext of marriage, the absence of evidence means legal action, such as a police complaint for cheating or a civil suit for the debt, may not be successful. The law generally requires concrete proof to establish a claim.

To me, for borrowing money and not return the money, you can file a suit under Sec.420 of IPC. How do you believe such a person?

The money was given by you willingly to help your boyfriend (then, now husband) hence no crime is committed
