Loved a girl and her parents made her house arrested

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 June 2020 This query is : Resolved
Hi Sir/Madam,
I'm Aditya from Hyderabad. Me and my girlfriend are majors and in a relationship from past 2yrs and wants to get married. My parents were ok with my proposal and girls parents took her away and made her house arrest 3months ago. Can anyone suggest how to rescue her legally?
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 09 June 2020
If your girld-friend still loves you and you are confindent enough then you should file a writ of habeas corpus in you high court. The court shall then direct to the concerned police officials to bring your girlfreind in the court and shall record her statement and further shall order accordingly. Engage a lawyer practicing in high court.

Yes, you can approach the High Court. However, outcome depends upon the stand of the girl.

What do you mean by house arrest?
Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 10 June 2020
@malipeddi jaggarao: House Arrest means they took her and locked in a room without making out any communication

House arrest implies whatever Jaggarao opines.

You can file Habeas Corpus in the High Court.

Through some of her near friend, or from other reliable source, try to find out whether she is still ready to go against her parents and family for you.

You can do so.

But beware the danger.

You may be saying thousand times that you trust her fully. But once brought to the court there are all the chances of she deposing in favour of her parents and then there will be "N" number of charges (some non-bailable) against you. Then you keep feeding lawyer during best part of your life.

A practical situation pointed out by the expert Sudhir Kumar, the boy had to face the pointed out situation so many times. Be very careful in taking any step.
