Hello sir , i have completed my scc in the year of 2020 , I went to apply for my passport but i come to know there is spelling mistake in my scc certificate , sir what can I do any suggestions sir
Quick Summary
If you've discovered a spelling mistake on your SSC certificate and need to apply for a passport, don't worry. You can rectify this by taking steps for name reconciliation or a name change. This may involve executing an affidavit for the spelling error or, if the names are significantly different, obtaining a gazette notification for the name change through your Tahsildar. It's important to ascertain the correct spelling and the document you'll use as proof before proceeding with the correction procedure.

If your spelling is not correct in SSC,, then in which other document the spelling is correct or which other spelling of yours do not match to this SSC
First of all ascertain how did your spelling went wrong and what is your correct spelling and what is the document that you rely upon for correct spelling, after that you can follow the change of name procedure to rectify the correct spelling
