Humble Qu to experts - Both are Hindus. Boy did not tell girl, who is my sister that he already has one wife and he maried my sis. And then after marryng my sis he regestred his mariage with my sis and then later my sis. Came to know that he has a wife. So someone told he must have written false in regestra tion so later came to know that he wrote lies in reg about his mar.status. So what cases/ ip c can be filed on him and where. Any arrest possible?, Punishment ? Is there any punishment as he gave false info in mariage reg estration. pl. guide

fil case for bigamy aginst him . he cannot marry again during subsitence of first marriage .

if he is a government employee give a complaint to the office authorities and then to police about the first marriage and if you know the name of the first wife give her particulars also this is called a bigamy

Bigamy coupled with fraud are the relevant sections under which such person can be punished if FIR is filed against him or a criminal complaint before the trial magistrate is filed against him by your sister.

Sis already filed begamy separate before 5 yrs. but now want to take action about he wrote false in marr. regestratn. so what actions can be taken only about reg. separately and where? plzzzz advise..
