Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 07 June 2010 This query is : Resolved 
the present owner has purchased the property in the year 2001, wherein in the sale deed the seller had mentioned it is his ancestral property. as per EC from the year 1990 there are no transaction except the sale deed of the present owner. If mother deed is not available what is next course of action?

As it is already purchased get the mutation done as fast as possible and wait for the limitation period to cross.The actual possession of the property should not be lost.

The only sale deed would surely entitle the last purchaser to get the land mutated
