Affidavit is to be filed at the time of submission of plaint, written statement, replication and evidence in chief.

Order 6, Rule 15, Sub-Rule 4 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908:

"(4) The person verifying the pleading shall also furnish an affidavit in support of his pleadings."
