Disputed locker

As me and wife opened a locker with joint operation as i divorced 8 years back in 2011, the key was retained with her i am paying rental regularly. There are some articles in the locker which was given to her by parents. even i paid the settlement amount to her. they deny for key how to operated the locker bank marked disputed on the same .
what is the way no contract or communication from them since last 8 years.

The concern of Mr Narasimha is genuine. It may be appreciated the the query as worded indicates that the locker may be containing 'Streedhan" on which he has no claim even if he has paid for the same.
