If the presence of other family members at the time of registration of will not required,if both the witnesses are outsiders, one of them being illletrate maid?

A registered will be Legally Valid.Presence of family Members for a will registration Not required.Even an illiterate could be a witness.If he/she could write/Sign the Name atleast it would be treated as signature or the thumb impression would be legally valid

Every person of sound mind on his free will may write a will of the property owned by him. The execution of will do not require the presence of any of the family members. All that is required is that will should be signed by testator in the presence of two witness who too should affix their signature or thumb impression on will to to effect that the person signed the will in their presence.Educational qualification of the witnesses and the testator is immaterial.

The Author had Posted it with same Title in Two thread and Other one more Explanatory and attended by Mr.R.K.Goyal also.Due to their anxiety they would Initiate two threads.For that it should not be treated as "Academic"
