wife asking to repay all money earned after retiring

My parents are retired but now mother demands more respect for her efforts as wife which my father denies . Considering this she wants her money back that she earned and gave . Now with the help of my only brother in law she wants to approach court and he slowly started to gain voice with my mother support and demanding equal share of property. Is it genuine and now about me am very clear and i dont want these arguments and want my parents wish to fufill.

True sir..Actually in my opinion both are psycologically and emotionally blunt due to their brought up . Father though respectfully loves her did most of her works while she was in service she being in staff nurse 24/7 duties. But his tongue is very harsh so now she wants some other way to console herself and retreating to these acts. I once asked her after return from tour at 10:30 pm did you catch cough in tour or now at home as she requested me to bring cough syrup at this time. From then she gets her medicines by walk and strangely now she says most of the colony people have asked me about why she is painfully doing this. I was stunned and my in law says its you who should look into these things and taking leverage.

Well, your mother has right of monthly maintenance if the same is not taken care of by her husband. However she has no right of share in the property or retiral benefit of your father.
So allow your parents to resolve their dispute bilaterally and do not allow your brother in law in interfere in this.

Thanks for replies and also am planning to first vacant my sister from upstairs . Its a G+1 house, is there any legal way as my in law resists to vacant and claims 50% daughter share. I believe to first make him vacant the house is there any legal way avoiding him to go to court and take the house into any dispute.i see his interest only in wealth and not family welfare but scapegoat my mom resorts him for help and supports him a lot.

If this is self earned property of your father no body can claim any share during his life time including you or your sister. He can sell / gift / mortgage / assign / bequeath it in favor of any one.

Owner of property can ask your brother in law / sister to vacate the property.

You should try to look after and satisfy the ego of your parents and try for amicable settlement.

In my case both are earning and how the property be settled if the wife claims her share for her earnings are part of the existing property.
