Purchase a house belong to sc

Dear Sir;
i want to purchase a house whose owner belongs to SC who purchased land in 2010 by non SC. land belongs to varanasi development authority but not municipal cooperation.
should i purchase this house without DM permission.

as per your query, the land was transferred to non SC and he sold it to SC. now he is selling that property. the VDA will transfer the land on certain conditions to its members. if the member want to sell it then permission shall be obtained from the authority of VDA. the next time sale it is not necessary. however consult in VDA and then proceed to purchase.

In any case it does not seem to be an award land..................and any permission from DC may not be required.

However you may check carefully from your own lawyer.

In case of sale/resale by Development authorities and NOC/NDC is usually required from the authority. The process and procedure is usually available on website and in office of the authority.
