Approximate time to come judgment in civil case

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I like to file a civil suit for claiming my share in ancestral property by Hindu amendment act -2005. May I know how long it will take (approximate time limit) to come judgment? Please give your valuable advice.

No one can predict time limit of final judgment.

it would depend upon pendency of cases in court wherein you have filed case .

Depends on pending suits, type of suit, relief claimed, delay tactics adopted by other party and so many other factors. It may take Minimum 4-5 years to double the time.

Which State? In Kerala, suits could be decided in a couple of years or even lesser period.
