Nri resident getting new electricity connection.

Hello,
I purchased a commercial shop in ghatkopar with valid ghumastha licence 2014 and want to take a new electricity connection since it was a shared electricity connection before.It is on pagdi system and i am considered tenant and not owner.Ipay monthly rent receipts and also given share to owner during the transfer of property.But now since i am not the owner how can i get new meter with mere sale agreement and power of attorney.Can i get an affidavit or so so?please suggest.Thank you.I am not resident of India so my brother is taking care of my property.

On the basis of sale agreement and POA you are entitled to get new electricity connection.

Consult the electricity department and submit the documents and by completing any other formality required by them.

electricity service provider will ask for copy of your rent receipts and agreement . based on said documents you will get electricity connection
