Dob on passport and 10th certificate dont match

Hi to all,

This is regarding my nephew whose dob on passport and 10th certificate dont match,reason is his passport was made when he was in 6th class and he facing trouble when he is looking to go aboard as passport and 10th dob vary...

PS:someone suggested that we should surrender old passport and reapply for a new one ,with 10th certificate. IS IT POSSIBLE .

what is DOB mentioned in birth certificate . please clarify . on said basis apply for change in date of birth mentioned in passport

First Meet the concerned Pass Port officer with all evidences in Originals and plead for the recifications .Some times they would be convinced with an Affidavit Notarized.Other wise you will have to seek court direction regarding the same which could be done in 30 working days thro a Local Advocate.

In case the passport officer is convinced with the explanations given by you in connection the discriminating date of births, and using his discretionary power to issue the passport, it will be okay or you have to produce the copy of court declared date of birth by passing an order in the declaratory suit filed by you in this regard.
