Cause of arrest

sir pls advice me if a family members of the arrested person ask for a copy of arrest warrant/cause of arrest.in such case is there a particular form of request & whom to approach.as one of our members is called for as a witness in a 420 case.and was arrested upon reporting at the thane.cause not known even lawyer is not telling us correctly on what pretext he was arrested.we assume that he(witness) would have signed the arrest warrant without reading as it is in hindi.witness hails from andhra pradesh.arrest made in chattisghar as case is going on in chattisghar itself.cnf if security deposit has to be in the form of FD-NATIONAL BANK.OR IS IT MANDATORY THAT in the form of property pledge from the local area of jursidiction-for a bail to be granted.pls advice

2. The fact that your family member was arrested then he must have been produced before the court and must have got a regular bail.

3. The arrest memo is placed before the court and a certified copy of it can be obtained form the court.

4. The copy of the F.I.R. needs to be examined.

After arrest the person has to be produced before the Magistrate. Get bail from there and also apply for the certified copies of the arrest memo, FIR and other documents. Consult a local lawyer.

good morning sir-ji,i am happy with the replies.After arrest the person was produced before the Magistrate for hearing of the case but intrestengly the other accused persons were told that they need not come for hearing by the police on that day.yes we have appointed a local lawyer.he says to get bail, court is asking for surety to be pledged property & bond of 25000/- from 2 local persons.problem is we dont know any one from that place.will O.R workout or any FD in the name of any of the family members from andhra pradesh will do.and kindly cnf is there a form for applyng for cause protection/cause of arrest.where to apply.pls advice.thank you .our person went as a witness for the case and was arrested but the accused were let out on bail without investigation.how can this be justified.

These things can be clarified by your lawyer who is handling your bail case. He is aware of the local formalities and procedures, hence concentrate on what is to be done instead of becoming curious over each and every petty issues faced in the court.
