Need advice of law profession:-

(Querist) 26 January 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hello to all Advocates and Experts,

I am just writing this time not to take any legal advice rather need guidance to get some hope within me to do something else related to the same field, hope your advice help me somewhere to take a final decision,,

I have got experience only of 2 years that's it, not exposed fully into this field that's the reason still not confident enough, being a mother of 3 and a half year old son who need me most of the time don’t feel like to avoid him therefore it’s been very difficult to concentrate or focus into this profession but after getting degree of LLM before my marriage I never thought of any other job to opt, therefore I am adamant to stick to Law profession only.

Now I would like to take advice on:-

As per my age (35) I can go for ADJ exam,,
Can I prepare at home if yes how? (suggest m books etc)

If I fail once then I go for coaching classes (suggest me classes also where etc plz)

After knowing my situation do you all think that I should go for it or not, what I think is that I have not much practical experience so not able to judge but what I have been suggested by my father is that I get all knowledge once I am into ADJ position, the pressure being onto that seat of JUDGE make me learn everything.

Thank you very much in advance

Now a days I have noticed, there are hundreds of academic queries are flooding in to the LCI.

I suggest the LCI admin, to formulate a system, to filter it. (discuss in your core team how to filter)

By doing this, the image of the LCI will go up.

At the same time, the LCI can have a different segment for answering the academic query.

By this the real needy person, will get benefited.

Yes, academic queries should be filtered.

However I may say you should prepare for ADJ exam and all the best.

u can try for ADJ exam.

It would be a better avenue for you to move for ADJ exam and to try for it again. Through proper guidance and self study you can succeed.

Working in some legal firm can also be suggested.

while endorsing the experts views, I would like to add one thing that the author saying "what I think is that I have not much practical experience so not able to judge" presently most of the judges were only book worms before achieving the post though they were enrolled as advocates, but practice was either name sake or no practice at all. This can be seen from the behavioral attitude and judgments/orders passed by such judges, very pathetic fate of the genuine litigants in the hands of such ill-knowledge judges.
