Hi All,

I am srinivas Jr. Advocate from Hyderabad. I have one query regarding the offers which provided by this electronics shops. The shop owners are offering that, if we purchase Rs. 1,000 or more price electronic products, they kept a lottery system and gathering the public attention that they will get 1 kg gold, maruthi car, and any other electronic equipment. Sir/Madam i think this kind of lottery system has banned here in India, but again why this people are doing this kind of business. And this people are making advertise openly in all Major News papers and News channels. I request to all members will u please suggest how to stop this kind of business. Is there any particular law to stop this kind of business. Please suggest, how to stop this kind of business who are making fools. Finally, i went to that electronic shop and i was asked what i will get for Rs. 1000/- He said nothing, but i don't know how they are making fools to public. Please suggest.

You say that you are a Jr. Advocate.
You also say that "this kind of lottery system has banned here in India".

Instead of indulging in loose talk, better first say under which specific law that a lottery system has been banned in India.

Other things will follow thereafter.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I am asking the same question, under which specific law that a lottery system has been banned in india ???. If you u know the specific law please suggest. I heard from one of my friend that this kind of lottery system has banned. I was not very sure about this. If you know the answer will you please suggest.

You are not asking. You have already concluded that "this kind of lottery system has banned here in India". That's why you have gone to the extent of saying what action can be taken.

Therefore, find out first, whether there is any ban or not, before trying to fly your kite!
