About 1st class magistrate

sir, i wanted to know that if 1st class magistrate and 1st class judicial magistrate is same. railway board have asked for an affidavit regarding my father's name they asked to be done by 1st class magistrate but mine is done by 1st class judicial magistrate please help me please

Yes, both refer to same authority.
They are empowered to administer oath and you can swear your affidavit before them.

Magistrates are empowered to administer oath. You can as well use services of NOTARY PUBLIC , for Affidavit

Nothing to worry, as class is an indication of the status of the magistrate, designation may deiffer at which the magistrate is posted.
