hi i am residing at nallasopara in vasai virar municipal corporation.
i have shortlisted a project in this reason for buying a flat though a broker.
he gave me site visit and shown the project layouts.this property is in the vvmc region but on the site or on the brochure there were no indication of vvmc approval.
when we asked the broker then he told us that our project is approved by vvmc and major financial institutions.
then please tell how to find out whether the project is vvmc approved and have all legan works.
also suggest me the list of documents required to be checked before buying the flat from any builder or any individual

You are going to buy a property.Often several complications are involved and several hundred of precautions are required to be taken.Details are huge which once in past i have posted for which you may search.
i can not do it time and again.
VVMC approval must be with builder as well as in office of VVMC.
However IT would be best to engage a property lawyer to look after the needful .

Obtain the copy of the permission and get it personally enquired from the office of vvmc. You should hie the services of a local lawyer for this purpose.
