Change in position of surname in tenth certificate

(Querist) 02 May 2013 This query is : Resolved 
my cbse tenth certificate reads 'R.P.SUBHASH'(i passed 1oth in 2001 in a school in gujarat, and i am presently residing in kerala). All other certificates following that including my graduation/ registration/ driving licence/ pan/.. have my name as 'SUBHASH.R.P'.All other details in all certificates are same. I am going to join post graduate course if this problem arises, will a one and the same certificate be ok?. kindly help

apply for name change and they will publish your name in official gazette..

Name change process is very long procedure. Before that try to convince the officials as this is a minor mistake. Except tenth certificate, all certificate are correct. If they do not heed to your request, it is better to go for Name change. For that you have to district collector office.

Instead of going through the detailed process, it shall be good if you publish in news paper a public notice that you are known in both names as above.

After completing the process in collector office and after gazette notification only the publication will be done. Mere publication is not enough.
