Damage due to consumer product

A consumer complaint has been filed that skin has got damaged due to use of soap of a particular brand. photo of skin has been attached.

Kindly suggest the defence on behalf of soap manufacturer.regards.

DEFENCE from Soap Manufacturer's perspective:

1. Produce "Skin Safety Test Report" by the manufacturer, of his Soap testing (on rabbits, humans)

2. Produce ingredient report of the Soap & then Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) of the each such ingredient

3. Produce BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) test report of the Soap

4. Ask Court to send Complainant-Applicant for "Skin Allergy tests", to determine Pre-Existing skin problems, at your costs

5. Ask court to direct the Complainant-Applicant, to undergo "usage of soap test", at current date, at a competent independent skin-clinical lab., (at your costs) to check the "genuine'ity" of the complainants allegation.

6. Conduct afresh (latest date) the "Skin Safety Test Report" on the product, by an govt. approved independent agency, and use his report + affadavit, as conclusive evidence

IF the above is not available / produce'able, THEN settle out-of-court with the complainant, after using the lingering-on strategy.

Dear Client,

The defense would be that they've put in all safeguards before its release in to the Market for use apart from CURRENT SKIN ALLERGY TESTS OP the consumer at the soap manufacturers cost along with ISB reports and its SEAL of Approval regarding the soap's safety.
